Grasshopper Point, Part I

Beautiful! Finding this creek and exploring it was our favorite part of our trip. We ran into a group of people on a sandy beach area south of this, but it was JUST US enjoying this part of our hike. Picture Kristi took after we had hiked down to Oak Creek.
Chewie rock hopping.

Toughie and Chewie posing in the rocks by the creek. This was really a great area for two boys to be able to run around and explore. We did not run into any of the endangered garter snakes they warned us about. The boys were sad about that, but I am happy we didn't see any.

Jennifer and Mom O' Nine hiking down to the creek. We were very careful....didn't want anyone to have to call 911 and rescue two chunky women. This hike down was the easy part, though. Wait until you see where Kristi and Chewie talked us into climbing to get back up to the parking lot. This picture inspired us to really get with an exercise program and stick to it.

Kristi, Chewie, Jen and Austin posing by this fence. It was perfect for a group photo. Looking back, all they needed was a "Wish You Were Here " sign. When you are having a really great time, don't you just wish you had your entire family and good friends to share it with? Voila! A blog is born. Enjoy!
Part II coming tomorrow!
