Around Christmastime, I saw the popcorn popper in the top picture. The problem was, it was at Kohl's....and the line in the store was way long. I didn't feel like trying to hold the box with the popper in it, even though I knew it was the perfect gift for Mr Wonderful. Well, we took the 5300 South exit before Salt Lake City to meet up with my cousin, Annette and her husband on our way to Idaho to take mom home. We got there a little early and were looking around inside the Costco. Mr Wonderful spied the popcorn maker, and it was love at first sight. Timing is everything--no line and he could hold the big box. He has made at least one batch of popcorn with his new machine every day since we have arrived home. The popper is a big hit with all of the popcorn fans in this house.
Tuesday was Jennifer's birthday. We made her two cookie cakes. The one has Pooh Bear's face on it in chocolate--the other has writing in vanilla frosting so everyone can be happy.
Austin is in the bottom picture. For the first time EVER he made student of the month. We are pretty proud of him.
Popcorn maker, that would make an excellent father's day present for Dan, or his Dad for that matter! They LOVE popcorn! Happy Birthday Jen & Way to go Austin!!!
