Bringing Our Marine Home from Yuma

Mike is on assignment at the Yuma Air Station. He got a day and a half off, so Mr Wonderful, Danielle, Breezy and I headed over to Yuma Friday to get him. We always like to stop and take pictures with the metal dinosaur and snake at the gas station in Gila Bend. The second picture on the top left is some small helicopters flying around the Yuma area. Mike said they are little ones he does not fly in. We got bored while waiting across the street from the military base for Mike, so walked across a field and took pictures of the girls by two planes. We have no clue what they are. The picture on the right of the flip flop is mine--check out the "porks" as my children call those rock looking spiking thorns that really hurt if you get one in your foot. Take my word for it. The mountain is either before or after the Dateland, AZ area. We got Mike home in plenty of time (one hour to spare) before we all headed over to Carrabas to celebrate Mr Wonderful's 60th birthday. Pictures of that to follow. :)
